Moneyfest is MrNight48's submission in Ragefest Four. It is a hack of Blazing Sword.

This chapter has four distinct parts (all on the same map, of course) all of which present a challenge of some kind with traps that unfortunately don't always do what they're supposed to because they typically don't always account for all potential player input, such as a scripted betrayal that means absolutely nothing if the character that betrays you was never recruited to begin with.

Loophole abuse
Your party starts in the lower-left part of the map. You need to kill all the enemies in five turns, and this is very easy if you get most of it done on the enemy phase. Take note of Marc's Luck Tome: This has a 100% chance to backfire, so never use it. There are three houses, and the one closest to your position contains an Elixir. The house at the top of this section of the map has 10,000 gold, which is critical because the Armory has armor-slaying weapons, and the Vendor has Light Runes. Both are very helpful in later segments. The third house just spawns a tough enemy, so ignore it. You should be able to slaughter the enemies very easily if you hide in forests, so use any extra time you have to buy what you want for later.

Your objective in this next segment is to kill the Bishop on the throne, so you'll need your Assassin to open the lock. There is only one chest worth caring about: The one right next to the cracked wall contains an Eclipse Bow, which as you might expect, cuts enemy HP in half with each hit. Right next to the throne is a General named "Trojan" and can be recruited by Marc. If you don't see the obvious giveaway here, you really shouldn't be playing other peoples' Ragefest submissions. That or you never learned the history of Troy, but whatever. Killing the Bishop is simple with both Marc and your Sniper, but be ready in case either side gets a critical. The faster you finish this segment, the longer the upcoming defense segment will be. Oh, and you'll notice Bug has appeared. Moving him causes all player units to return to their start positions. Do this only if someone gets stuck outside the map. Rarely, you can also use it to your advantage. Also, trying to prevent any of the reinforcements from spawning results in you getting hit with a fire trap.

The third segment is a defense segment, because those can never be trivialized, ever. First, kill the Thief with the Sniper so he can't open the door. They'll still break down the wall, leaving only one entrance to your area. If you recruited Trojan in the previous segment, he betrays you on turn 14. Unless, of course, he's dead or not recruited, and if he is, feel free to make a suicide run with him to get the most out of him before he dies. Enemies also spawn out of the bottom-right corner, so keeping a unit there (If you get a Physic, Marc can heal from there) prevents them from spawning. Lots of enemies here drop items. Anything Silver or Fimbulvetr is a huge help later on. If you can make it to the chest here (not recommended) it contains an armor-slaying Anima tome. Your Hero can also block the chokepoint rather effectively with a Runesword equipped, and a Light Rune is effective as well.

Your final objective is to kill the Money Man three times, and you have five turns to do it. Killing him isn't really hard if you pile on as much damage as possible with weapons acquired throughout the game, but his third form is astronomically fast, strong, and if you don't kill him on Player Phase, he is inevitably going to equip the Uber Spear (the supercharged Spear that Vaida used in Blazing Sword.) The Eclipse Bow is great here because it always takes half his health, and since this is the final fight anyways, the only character that needs to stay alive is Marc. Armor-slaying weapons are also effective. Kill him the third time to win.

Oh, and you can also prevent the Money Man from respawning by standing where he would appear, but lo and behold, that makes the chapter unwinnable.
